We never made it. I think we managed Green Gable.
For mid-summer it was astonishingly wet and windy. No moonlight at all. Much off-track (not necessarily deliberately). So with glasses on, it was real fun all round.
Only pictures taken at the end - just to prove how wet it was, and that we really were at the top of Honister. In fact it was pretty amazing that we ended up where we had started from.
Yes, there really were five of us.
