Lassen
A truly memorable hill (extinct volcano) which I only managed to climb because the road gets to within a thousand or so feet from the top (well, this IS America!). with hot springs and hills with names like Bumpass Hell, it's not surprising you remember it. And I only had a instant camera (I was on a business trip and went without a real camera). Rats!

Yosemite
Who could go to California and not visit Yosemite? I had no equipment and not much time, but this was a brilliant view from the Tioga pass. I'm not sure if this is Mt. Dana - maybe someone from the USA west coast might let me know.
